For patients, it can be even more unnerving with having to weigh treatment options, stay overnight or prepare for surgery. Warming hearts on Christmas helps to ease those feelings. The staff at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, New York work tirelessly to achieve high levels of quality care and a quiet healing environment.
The Vassar Brothers Medical Center located in Poughkeepsie, NY is a 365-bed facility serving New York's Mid-Hudson Valley since 1887 has established centers of excellence in cardiac services, cancer care and women and children's health services.
Women and children shelters were able to pick up toys that were delivered to the local police department since domestic violence homes, considered "safe houses", are in undisclosed locations. Domestic Violence, sometimes called battering, family violence, or intimate partner violence, is a pattern of behavior used to establish power and control over another person through fear and intimidation, often including the threat or use of violence. It can include physical emotional, psychological, economic and/or sexual abuse.
