supportmusictagcmyk1On behalf of the SupportMusic Coalition, we would like to extend an invitation to James Brown Family Foundation to join our National advocacy effort for music education. The SupportMusic Coalition is a public service initiative undertaken by NAMM, the trade association for the global musical instruments and products industry, and MENC, the National Association for Music Education. There is no cost for affiliation. The SupportMusic Coalition unites over 200 music, arts, parent and civic organizations and related businesses with a common goal: to support increasing access to a complete education that includes music and arts education for all children. This learning communityshares best music education advocacy strategies with one another and bands together within and across state lines when needed. Our partner organizations from Australia, Canada, the UK and other countries share their unique approaches and perspectives, helping inform those of us who have accepted the challenge of advocating for music and arts education on behalf of our young people gain the needed skills and strategies necessary for an effective effort. We've grown to represent over 7 million people with a common educational concern for our children who need all the proven benefits that a quality music and arts education can provide. By joining the coalition, we hope to help raise awareness of The James Brown Family Foundation,,, contributions to music and arts education and further align our advocacy efforts.
