Jamp Minis (ages 4-8) who are beginners will learn music thru basic skills that will enrich their creative talents they already have. Each child is talented in their own way. We strive to give each student an opportunity to express it in their own way thru music education.

Jamp Minors (9-12) who have had maybe only a little experience are welcome to come and expand their skills by learning thru music instrumentation, history of Mr. James Brown, the ability to read musical notes and encouraging music composition for reaching levels in writing their own music.

Jamp Masters (9-18) who have mastered their instrument(s) for more than one year. Students who will learn music performance, production and instrumentation on a professional level with qualified and skilled musicians. These students, who have been with Jamp for at least One year will travel to special performances.

J.A.M.P. students bring the funk with youth program

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A local program is giving kids an outlet while shaping them into musicians. The kids may be young, but they've got a whole lot of soul.

"You start dancing, any instrument you're playing, I don't care if you're using every single part of your body playing it you're going to dance to the music," said drummer Nicholas Turmon. He's just one of the kids involved in the James Brown Academy of Musik Pupils, or J.A.M.P.  READ AND WATCH FULL STORY AT WRDW.COM
