Auditions To Join The James Brown Academy Of Musik Pupils (J.A.M.P) Held At Augusta Museum Of History

Augusta, GA (August 12, 2014) – The James Brown Family Children Foundation announced today 2014 auditions for the JB Academy of Musik Pupils (J.A.M.P) will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at the Augusta Museum of History from 10 am – 1 pm. All students in grades K-12 are invited to attend. Performers of all levels are encouraged to audition, however, to be in the Jamp Masters performance group—an advanced level within the J.A.M.P program—the student must have at least one year experience with their instrument. Each student must prepare to perform two songs. Vocalists must be able to demonstrate their experience with an instrument. A drum kit and a keyboard will be provided, but all instruments are welcome.
