Dear James Brown Family Foundation,
Attention : Ms Deanna Brown and family
I, Jerusha would like to take this moment in expressing my gratitude of how your customize postcard just made my father's day and he is already " Feeling Good " and I feel good :) I really never expected you guys will go an extra mile by sending such a wonderful postcard that money or words could not express it. There is no measure and nothing better could my dad receive for his birthday. He was actually supposed to open this suprise in October eventhough it was like your daddy's favourite song "Three Hearts in a tangle " in my dad's case leave the envelope and take the content or leave them both by suffering to wait. It was just horrendous seeing bewildered expressions of him. At the end of the day, seeing your father's smile is simply priceless and I would like to thank you all once again for being a part of this contribution. I have attached the pictures as per request of my dad and mum and also one of it when he was a little bit more younger which was edited to his favourite singer's/ fan none other than the Godfather of Soul Mr James Brown.
I learned many good values from my father in where he told me the good things of how your father used to be a man with a heart of gold who would randomly stop and lend a helping hand to the ones in need and many of these good values has he passed down to we his children inspired by Mr James Brown. I believe every role of an artist not just reaching out in music but in their own individual ways does also reach out and inspire others. I am sure you Deanna are one of those blessed daughters.
Putting some SOUL in #marqueemonday!! We’re counting down to this Saturday’s celebration of #BlackPride music and the music inspired by #JamesBrown’s “Say It Loud - I’m Black and I’m Proud” Get into it man!! October 20, 2018 #Apollotheater #JamesBrown
